Kenneth Maynard Buck

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Maynard Buck (Zumbrota, Minnesota), born in Red Wing, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Buck and Lena Buck; his wife Verleen Banitt; his siblings, Silas, Mathias, Verneal Voth, Leone Benidt and Ebba Bredehoft; and his great grandchild Maxwell Buck.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Marcia), David (Kathy), Allen (Renae) and Brian (Becky); his grandchildren, Ann McIntosh (Chris), Jeff Buck (Diana), Jon Buck (Jamie), Kory Buck (Beth), Aimee Phillips (Matthew), Brett Buck (Carley), Kyle Buck, Angela Matiash (Mike), Matthew Buck (Suparada), Emily Frank (Tim) and Jennifer Lindquist (Ben); his great grandchildren, Alivia, Kellen McIntosh, Heidi, Daniel Buck, Charlotte, Lila Buck, Evelyn Buck, Collette Phillips, Samuel, Allison Buck, Aaron, Caleb, Annalise, Emmalyn Matiash, Madison, Grayson Buck, Carson, Summer Frank, Jackson and Noah Lindquist; and his sister-in-law Kay Banitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (223 E 5th St, Zumbrota, MN 55992). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zumbrota Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Christ Lutheran Church Building Fund, Zumbrota.
