Kenneth passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the age of 86. He was born on February 4, 1940 in Bay City to the late Leonard and Patricia (Lozon) Jean. He was very involved with Visitation Catholic Church, he was a member of the Ushers club and was the chairman for several years for the summer festival. He coached football and basketball for the school as well. He coached the special Olympic basketball team and also coached little league baseball. At Bay City Chevrolet, where he worked for 30 years, he led the Plant Activities committee and coordinated United Way fundraising events.
Later in retirement he moved to Lake Village on Crooked Lake and then to Palmetto Florida where he and his wife, Mary had a place. When Mary passed, he moved closer to his son in Las Vegas, then later decided to move back home to Bay City.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Laura Jean, Wayne (Shellee) Jean, David (Amanda) Trigona and Dena Trigona; grandchildren, Nicholas (Fawn) Suchyta, Ashley Jean, Erin Jean, Devin (Kim) Collier, Danielle Collier, William (Brianna) Trigona, Caitlyn Trigona, Libby (Jerod) Paholsky and Chad Opperman; great grandsons, Roman Suchyta and Johnny Paholsky; sisters, Nancy Leinberger and Sandra Johnroe and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Trigona) Jean; daughter, Kelly (Jean) Suchyta; son, Daniel Trigona and brother-in-law, Lothar Leinberger.
In honoring the wishes of Kenneth, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth’s name to the Special Olympics or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
