Kenneth "Ken" L. Nicholas Jr.

Kenneth “Ken” L. Nicholas Jr., age 64, of Semmes, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026. Born on July 19, 1961, in Mobile, Alabama, to the late Kenneth L. Nicholas Sr. and Patricia J. Nicholas, Ken lived a life defined by quiet dedication, skill, and deep affection for those he loved.

A proud graduate of Mary G. Montgomery High School, Class of 1980, Ken spent more than four decades as a mechanic, serving as Lead Mechanic at M&N Auto Service. Widely respected for his exceptional knowledge and craftsmanship, he was regarded by colleagues and friends as one of the finest mechanics in the Semmes area. A faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 4888, he centered his life around hard work, faith, and family.

Ken found joy in golf, fast cars, and the satisfaction of working on engines in his home garage. Even through a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease, he maintained his warm smile, gentle sense of humor, and steadfast love for those around him. He will be remembered for his kindness, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Veronica G. Nicholas; his children, Cameron K. Nicholas (Savannah B. Nicholas) and Kai A. Nicholas; and his cherished grandchildren, Raegan and Kennedy Nicholas.
