He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia, and his three children, James (Carrie) Moore, Kathleen (William) Miller, and Eileen (David) Andersen, and five grandchildren, Kelly Miller, Colleen Miller, Matthew Moore, Rose Andersen, and Bridget Andersen. He is also survived by his brother, William Moore. He is predeceased by his parents, Doris and Lee Moore, and brothers Robert and Donald Moore.Kenneth was born on March 14,1935 in Brooklyn, NY. After high school, he entered the United States Navy in 1953, during which time he was trained as a meteorologist. This kindled a lifelong interest in meteorology. He was discharged in 1961 and had a successful career on Wall Street designing and managing business forms.In 1962, he met his future wife, who was working as a pharmacist in a neighborhood pharmacy, when he came in looking for a cold remedy. They were married on May 16, 1964. They lived in Brooklyn and Queens, eventually settling in Kinnelon, NJ. Upon his retirement in 1998, Ken and Pat moved to Spring HII, FL and fulfilled his lifetime retirement dream of living on a golf course and golfing to his heart's content. Ken and Pat also enjoyed extensive travel in retirement and visited destinations such as Japan, Australia, and their ancestral homelands of Ireland and Germany.Ken was active in the Catholic Church, including serving many years as an usher at Our Lady of the Magnificat parish in Kinnelon, NJ and was a life member of the Knights of Columbus.A funeral mass for Ken will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 11:30am at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida.Donations in Ken's memory can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.St. Jude's donation Link- https://www.stjude.org/donate/donate-to-st-jude.htmlAlzheimer's Association Link- https://act.alz.org/site/DonationTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Kenneth F.
