Kendra Diane Livesay Smith, 52, of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born on October 30, 1973, in Amarillo, Texas, to Darrel and Susan (Reeder) Livesay, she was raised in Guymon, where she graduated from high school in 1992. Kendra went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Panhandle State University.
A devoted educator, Kendra taught first grade at Coolidge Elementary with Enid Public Schools. She also shared her time and talents at Leonardo’s Children’s Museum, working with the Discovery After-School and Discovery Camp programs. Her warmth, encouragement, and genuine care left a lasting impression on generations of students. Beyond the classroom, Kendra found joy in dance and in teaching it to others. Her kindness, uplifting words, and radiant smile touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her three beloved children, Kale Smith and his wife Chelsi of Enid, Lane Smith of Oklahoma City, and Emily Smith of Edmond; her two cherished granddaughters, Hayden Rae and Hadleigh Jean Smith; her parents, Darrel and Susan Livesay of Guymon; her sister, Kylee Corder and her husband Austin of Parker, Colorado; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, friends, and students. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jean and Bob Reeder and Dolores and Dean Livesay.
