Ken Fultze ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Merkle Funeral Service, Inc. - South Monroe on Mar. 17, 2026.Ken Randall Fultze was born in Monroe, Michigan on May 23, 1960. He was one of twelve children born from the union of Doyle Franklen Fultze and Lois Imogene (Hurst) Fultze. Following his graduation from high school, he enrolled in college courses to obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant designation.Family was the cornerstone of Ken's existence. Blessed with the birth of five children, he was privileged to become a doting grandfather to six. He cherished chatting on the phone with his grand babies, their laughter and stories bringing light to his day. Every weekend without fail, Ken would settle in for hours-long FaceTime calls with his daughter Sasha.Ken's dedication to his family extended beyond those weekend calls. He diligently checked on his loved ones daily, offering support and encouragement in all their endeavors. As a true family man, he believed in the power of connection and made it his mission to ensure his family felt loved and secure.Ken also cherished the time spent playing video games with his children. Hours flew by as they laughed and strategized together.Ken found peace in the revving engine of his prized possession, a 1967 sky blue Pontiac Firebird. As a lover of all music, Ken's eclectic taste meant that his car and home were always filled with magnificent sounds ranging from classical symphonies to the latest pop hits.In his heart, Ken was an adventurer. He often yearned for the days of his youth when he would drive for miles without a care, eager to explore the world. While his wanderlust continued to call him, action movies, especially those starring Bruce Lee and Jason Statham, helped quench his thirst for excitement and adventure.Ken Randall Fultze, age 65, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his home at 4:48pm on Sunday; March 16, 2026.
