Ken Kinzer

The passing of Ken Kinzer (Woodbine, Iowa), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 7, 2026 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leonard and Virginia Belle Kinzer (Hemmingsen). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kinzer of Woodbine; his children, Scott Kinzer (Leesa) of Denison, Steven Kinzer (Carol Ann) of Alpharetta, Georgia, Starr (Keith Herrington) of Omaha and Samuel Kinzer (Susan) of North Liberty, Iowa; his grandchildren, Paige Kinzer, Sydney (Barry Buehler), Bryce Herrington, Grant Herrington, Jack Kinzer, Nathan Kinzer and Maxwell Kinzer; his great grandchild Maisie; and his siblings, Lynette Davenport of Columbia and Craig Kinzer of Council Bluffs. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 605 Weare St, Woodbine, IA 51579. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 at the Belknap Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Woodbine Community of Christ or the Woodbine Fire and Rescue Department.
