Born Sunday, July 30, 1944, in the Pine Mountain Community of Letcher County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Fred & Maggie Boggs Sparkmon. Kelly was a hard-working farmer. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and "stirring up trouble".Kelly leaves behind one daughter, Lisa Holmes (Clayton) of Stanford, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren, Shannon Miracle of Frankfort, Kentucky, Billy Miracle of Moreland, Kentucky, Kevin Lee Holmes (Harley) of Dunnville, Kentucky, Morgan Holmes (Courtney) of Stanford, Kelli Miracle of Stanford, and Hannah Holmes of Campbellsville, Kentucky; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Orlis Sparkmon (Becky) of the Highland Community of Lincoln County, Kentucky, and Glyn Sparkmon of Waynesburg, Kentucky; four sisters, Lillie Forste (Herb) of South Carolina, Phyllis Austin of the Walltown Community, Sandra Johnson of Stanford, and Beverly Morgan (Jimmy) of Waynesburg; and several nephews, nieces, and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.In addition to his parents, Kelly was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Wayne "Sparky" Sparkmon; and one sister, Dorene Singleton (Tony).A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Friday, March 20, 2026, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.A Public Funeral Service will be held 1PM Friday, at the funeral home. Morgan Holmes will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Kelly's memorial page of the funeral home's website.Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery. John David Sparkmon, John William Sparkmon, Billy Joe Miracle, Kelli Miracle, Kevin Lee Holmes, and Dakota Miracle will serve as Active Pallbearers.
