Kelly Lee Edna Loftin-Ryder, 62, of Old Fort, passed away on March 11, 2026, at her residence.
Born in Buncombe County, North Carolina, on July 16, 1963, Kelly was the daughter of the late Rudolph George Loftin and Wilma Mae Aston Loftin. She was married to Edward “Eddie” Ryder, who preceded her in death in 2017. Artistic by nature, she found joy in drawing and coloring, and her deep Christian faith was reflected in her love for reading the Bible. She leaves behind a family who will always cherish and remember her.
In addition to her husband and parents, Kelly was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Wright and Crystal Millsap.
She is survived by eight sisters and three brothers. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
