Though Kelley may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kelley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bentley and Lilie Fields Bentley; his wife Sarah; and his son Kelley Wayne Bentley. He is survived by: his son Michael Bentley (Linda); his grandchildren, Curt Bentley, Michael Jonathan Bentley (Monica) and Michele Badalamenti (Mark); and his great grandchildren, Brooke Badalamenti and Blake Badalamenti.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Life and Legacy Funerals and Cremations (6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079).
