Keith Wesley Bacon

Keith Wesley Bacon

January 10, 1968 March 12, 2026

Peggs, OK

Keith Wesley Bacon was born on January 10, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to P.J. and C. June (Webb) Bacon. He was raised in Tulsa and Mannford, Oklahoma, and spent the last nine years of his life in Peggs, Oklahoma, where he passed away at home on March 12, 2026, at the age of 58.

On January 27, 2017, Keith married the love of his life, Kimberly Diane Ross, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The couple first met while working together at the Black Eye Pea Restaurant in Tulsa. Keith began there as a dishwasher and advanced to waiting tables before managing a Black Eye Pea location in Memphis, Tennessee. He later returned to Oklahoma and spent more than thirty years co-owning and operating Bacon & Son Furniture in Tulsa alongside his father, P.J., a role that allowed him to work closely with his dad while serving customers with care and attention.

Keith attended the Church of Christ in Mannford for many years. He had a remarkable talent for fixing almost anything and found great joy in restoring automobiles and working with tools. He loved the outdoors, especially time spent on the water in a boat. An avid OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys fan, he made many trips with his close friend Donnie Golden to the annual OU-Texas football game. Keith also enjoyed traveling, particularly to Florida and Pensacola, and shared a love of music and concerts with Kim, favoring Guns N’ Roses, The Cult, and 1980s classics. He cherished time with his family, especially conversations with his mother, and was known for bringing his signature broccoli, cheese, and rice casserole to gatherings. Those who knew him will remember his sharp memory, quick wit, and gift for storytelling.

Keith is survived by his wife, Kimberly Bacon of the home; son Wesley James Bacon and wife Tessa of Ft. Worth, Texas; daughter Taylor Lynn Bacon of Arcata, California; grandchildren Ava Rae Bacon and Bennett Lee Bacon of Ft. Worth, Texas; his mother, C. June Bacon of Rogers, Arkansas; sister Paula June Lovitt and husband Jeff of Asheville, North Carolina; brothers Kenneth Wayne Bacon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Preston Jerome Bacon and wife Lisa of Rogers, Arkansas; step-daughter Catey Hall of Springfield, Missouri; step-son Ezra Hood of Pryor, Oklahoma; nieces Hayley Lovitt of Atlanta, Georgia, and Kaitlyn Bacon of Salt Lake City, Utah; nephews Drew Lovitt of Morganton, North Carolina, and Cameron Bacon of Salt Lake City, Utah; and the mother of his children, Stacie Lynn Reynolds of Florida, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, P.J. Bacon; paternal grandparents H.A. and Myrtie Bacon; and maternal grandparents C.O. and Margie Webb.
