Keith Lamont Callwood

Keith Lamont Callwood, 62, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Those who knew him will remember his warmth, kindness, and keen sense of humor. Even during his illness, Keith remained anchored in his deep Christian faith, and his good nature touched everyone who cared for him.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Keith graduated from Westinghouse High School and went on to attend Point Park College. He spent more than thirty years working in banking operations. He held a lifelong love for baseball, often recalling with laughter the days he played the sport on hot summer afternoons in his youth. He remained a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada Josebell Callwood; his father, Wesley Watt; his sister, Jacqueline Callwood; his brother, Orvin (Wink) Callwood; and his grandparents, Margaret (Tisdale) and Alfonso J. Stewart, Sr.

Keith will be forever loved and deeply missed by his sister, Cathy Callwood Denning (Walt) of Kernersville, North Carolina; his brothers, Lynn Howard Callwood of Pittsburgh and Darrell Callwood; his cousin, James M. Stewart of Pittsburgh; and his nieces, nephews, and many family friends.
