He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Wright and Anna Wright; his pet Howard; his brother Francis Wright; and his grandson-in-law John Creighton.

He is survived by: his aunt Elsie; his uncle Carl Anderson; his wife Sally Wright; his daughters, Ann Mulvaney (Patrick) and Tammy Bodine (Michael); his grandchildren, Jennifer Creighton (Mulvaney), James Mulvaney (Tiffany), Mia Bodine, Rylee Bodine and Rachel Mulvaney; and his great grandchild Owen Creighton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weldon Funeral Home (102 E Main St, Penn Yan, NY 14527). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
