Keith Bowman ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Welch Funeral Home - Montross Chapel on Mar. 11, 2026.Keith Bowman, 71, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, March 8, 2026. Born in Lenior North Carolina to Edith & Cecil Bowman, Keith lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for the people around him.Keith was a skilled brick mason by trade, whether laying stone or turning a wrench, he had a gift for building and fixing things with his own two hands. He loved fishing and was always happy to go with friends and family and pass on his love of the water to the next generation. Those who were lucky enough to cast a line alongside him will always carry those moments close to their hearts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Cecil Bowman, and his brothers, Buddy, Donald, and Paul Bowman.Keith is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Judy Mozingo Bowman, his stepchildren Angela Harris and Lisa Clark, his grandchildren, Jacob Peyton, Rodney Walker II, Madison Harris, and Landon Harris, and his close friend George "Bubba" Bryant, who Keith called son.A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 20th at Currioman Baptist Church, Zacata VA, with a visitation at 10:00am and the service at 11:00am.
