Keedon Lewis

Keedon Lewis, known affectionately as "FatMan," was born on April 6, 2009, in Lumberton, North Carolina, and passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 16. He resided with his mother in Lumberton but was well known and loved throughout the Prospect and Rowland communities.

A student in the 11th grade at Purnell Swett High School, Keedon was remembered for his humorous, enthusiastic, and clever personality. His selfless spirit touched everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression. He found peace in hunting and fishing, enjoyed riding anything with wheels, singing with all his heart, and driving his old truck. His faith was a guiding force in his life; he kept his Bible close, reading God’s word daily, reflecting, and writing personal notes. He often reminded those around him to “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding,” from Proverbs 3:5.

Keedon is survived by his loving parents, Keesha Renee Jacobs and Brandon Lewis, his step-father Brian Jacobs, siblings Camryn Lindsey and Bryson Lewis, step-brother Forest Jacobs, and grandparents Leanie and Billie Lewis, Carol and Johnny Locklear, and Betty Jo Hunt. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles Telisha and Adrian Jacobs, Lauren and Marcus White, Johnna and Chris Lowery, and Corey Locklear, as well as cousins Christian Lowery, Braxtyn Hunt, Deja Oxendine, Lakota Locklear, Brayden Locklear, Kyleigh White, and Everleigh Cummings, along with a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lessie and Albert Lewis of Rowland, Joyce and Robert White of Pembroke, Mary Helen Hunt and Danny Hunt of Lumberton, his aunt Tiffany Hunt, and his cousin Braedyn Hunt of Maxton.
