Kazz S. Snyder, 44, of Ontario, New York, and formerly of Colton, New York, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Strong Memorial Hospital following an automobile accident.
Born in Potsdam, New York, on September 21, 1981, to William and Sharon Sutton Snyder, Kazz attended Colton-Pierrepont Central School. In 2010, he moved to the Rochester area, where he founded and operated his own tree management company, Redwood Tree and Management LLC. An accomplished arborist, he took great pride in his work. Above all, Kazz devoted himself to his four children, who were the center of his world. He found joy in the outdoors, riding ATVs, fishing, and listening to music. He cherished time spent with friends and family, sharing stories, laughter, and memories built over the years.
He is survived by his children, Konnor Konitsiotis of Elbridge, New York, Kane Snyder, Cali Snyder, and Kiera Snyder, all of Ontario, New York; his father, William Snyder of Plattsburgh, New York; his sister, Kakia Ashley (Jennifer Lassial-Ashley) of Hopkins, South Carolina; his brothers, Kennin Snyder of Dallas, Georgia, Kie Runge of Hopkins, South Carolina, and Sawyer White of Massena, New York; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Bill and Mary Jo Sutton of Colton, New York, Cindy Charleson of Potsdam, New York, Uncle Brian, and cousins Bill and Michael Sutton.
Kazz was predeceased by his mother, Sharon Snyder, his brother Kane Snyder, and his grandparents Phyllis Bovay “Mema” and Larry Bovay “Papa.”
