Miller, age 88, of Withee, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at his home under the tender care of St. Croix Hospice.A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.Kay was born on May 10, 1937, the son of Edward and Florence (Anderson) Miller in Nebraska. He graduated from high school and then took short course in agriculture. Kay farmed and ranched in Nebraska before moving to the Thorp area and buying a farm. In 1990, he moved into Withee.Kay was a farmer, rancher and herdsman. He also assisted farmers in assessing their land. He served as an appraiser, real estate agent and as President of the Village of Withee. Kay liked to play cards including: sheepshead, poker and cribbage. He even made numerous cribbage boards for family and friends.Kay is survived by his four children: Pam (Paul) Brekke, Matt Miller, Tory (Linzi) Miller and Tylor Miller; two grandchildren: Michael Miller and Haven Miller. He is further survived by a special friend, Austin Milliren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Monte and two sisters: Anita Gesiriech and Neva Galloway.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
