Katlin Grice

Katlin Grice, 23, of Liberal, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on May 28, 2002, in Longview, Texas, to Michael and Stephani Crosby Grice. Katlin graduated from high school in Gladewater, Texas.

She found simple joys in watching trains, collecting anything that glowed in the dark, and getting her nails painted each month with glow-in-the-dark polish. Katlin loved making jewelry and cherished her cat, Smores. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her parents, Michael Grice of Gladewater, Texas, and Stephani Crosby of Liberal, Kansas; her sister, Ashley Grice of Utah; her aunt and uncle, Jeni and Sam Dean of Chandler, Arizona; her cousins, Sadie Dean and Erich Dean of Chandler, Arizona; her grandfather Calvin Crosby of Liberal, Kansas; her granddad Roger Grice of Forgan, Oklahoma; and her grandmother Carolyn Gastineau of Forgan, Oklahoma, along with many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Katlin was preceded in death by her brother, Preston Grice; her sister, Debbie Grice; her grandmother, Diane Crosby; her great-grandmother, Nanny Alpha Grice; her uncles, Bobby Grice and Rodney “Uncle Hot Rod” Grice; and her great-grandfather, Calvin Crosby.
