She was born on May 14th, 1966, in the same location at Norton Pavilion, bringing her life to a full circle. She was the daughter of Beverly and Ray Meza and is preceded in death by her Parents, and Brother Raymond Meza. She is survived by her beloved Husband Richard Sorg, Daughters, Candice Bibb (Paul), and Kariena Andres (Luke), her Sisters Bettie Priddy (Ricky) and Kelly Meza-Lawson (Danny), Grandkids Valerie, Adam Bibb, and Adelynn, Mack Andres, her Mother-in-Law Delores Sorg, Brother and Sister-in-laws Michael, Brenda, Connie, Lisa, Kim, Tim, Carl, and Tonya. Along with many dear Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and Friends.Kathy touched our lives in immeasurable ways. Beyond being a mother and grandmother Kathy was a dear friend to so many. Her kindness and empathy touched the lives of those around her. Her presence brought comfort to those in need.She was a retired sitter-caretaker from Adaptive Health and Norton Hospital after 25 years of service. Even in her final moments here on earth, she was speaking to the hearts of so many around her that even her caretakers, people she had only just met, saw the kindness and light that emitted from her soul.Kathy was "Unique" her personality was unmatched to those around her and her laughter would consume a room. Her love, compassion, and humorous nature brought about much happiness to everyone she met. Her role as "Nana" to her grandchildren brought her immense joy. She showered her grandchildren with love, creating memories that will always be cherished, and they will forever hold dear to their heart.Visitation will be at the Gehlbach and Royse funeral home in Corydon on Thursday March 12th, from 2 PM - 7 PM, and again on Friday morning from 9 AM until 11 AM. Funeral services will follow at Gehlbach and Royse on Friday March 13th, at 11AM. Kathy will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Cemetery immediately following the ceremony. Flowers and condolences may be offered at 318 E Chestnut St Corydon, IN 47112.
