Kathy was a resident of this area all her life and was manager of the GTCC High Point Campus Bookstore. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved being with family, especially her grandchildren.On March 3, 1985, she married Michael Taylor who survives of the residence. Also surviving is her son, Alan Taylor (Amie) of Thomasville; daughter, Ashley Taylor of High Point; eight grandchildren, Matthew Taylor, Savanna Taylor, Landon Newton, Laythin Newton, Layla Newton, Xander Taylor, Madisyn Taylor and Makhari Taylor; sister-in-law, Mitzie Woods of Trinity; and niece, Crystal Weaver.A gathering of friends and family will be held from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.Read The Full ObituaryTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
