Kathryn Taylor

Kathryn Anne Taylor, age 73 of Bethel, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Hospice of Cincinnati East in Anderson Township, Ohio. She was born August 1, 1952 in Adams County, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (Glascock) Hamilton. Kathryn lived a life marked by dedication, passion, and a profound love for the simple joys that brought her fulfillment. For 30 years, Kathryn served with unwavering commitment at McDonald's, spending the last 15 years at the Mt. Orab location. Her presence there was more than just a job; it was a source of pride and happiness that truly defined a significant part of her life. Kathryn was also a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans, where she contributed her time and energy to support veterans with compassion and dignity. Beyond her professional and volunteer endeavors, Kathryn had a rich appreciation for nature and creativity. She was passionate about flowers and gardening, finding solace and inspiration in nurturing plants and beautifying her surroundings. Cooking was another cherished pastime, allowing her to express care and creativity through the meals she prepared. Additionally, Kathryn embraced Native American heritage. Kathryn's life was a testament to hard work, kindness, and heartfelt commitment. She touched the lives of many through her work, community involvement and vibrant spirit. While her passing leaves a void, those who knew her will forever carry the warmth and strength she shared. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother – Michael Hamilton and two sisters – Melinda Hess and Maderius Conner.

Ms. Taylor is survived by two sons – Chris Wells of Bethel, Ohio and Charles Waits and wife Kim of Midland, Ohio; seven grandchildren – Kortni McQuality of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Steven Wells of Kentucky, Dillon Wells of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kiowa Fithen of Mt. Orab, Ohio, Kyra Waits of Midland, Ohio, Dean Waits of Batavia, Ohio and Doug Chandler of Mt. Orab, Ohio; eleven great grandchildren; numerous step-children and foster children; two brothers - James Hamilton and wife Wanda of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Timothy Hamilton of Sardinia, Ohio and her beloved cat - Peanut.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Dave Warren will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Sardinia Cemetery in Sardinia, Ohio.
