Kathryn Eileen Murray

Kathryn Eileen Allison Murray, known affectionately as Eileen, was born on October 15, 1931, in Bridgeport, Alabama, and passed away on March 11, 2026, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. A lifelong member of the Church of Christ, she attended Lipscomb University and lived a life grounded in faith and family.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of seventy years, Wade Scott “Bo” Murray, her parents Curtis Lee Allison and Kathryn Arendale Allison, and her sister Jeannine Raulston.

Eileen is survived by her sister Virginia Merritt, her brother Bedford Allison, her daughter Gloria Murray Smith and son-in-law Randy, her granddaughters Allison Smith Gadd and husband Josh, and Kathryn Smith Trimble and husband Arch IV, and her great-grandchildren Kate and Hunter Gadd, and Arch V and Baker Trimble. Her family will remember her gentle spirit and the love she shared with them all. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Angie Hicks for the many years of devoted care she provided to Mimi and Bo.
