Born in Detroit, Michigan, on Wednesday, November 18, 1931, Kathleen was a devoted wife, nurturing mother, loving grandmother, and a steadfast homemaker who warmly embraced her roles with sincerity and dedication.Loving wife of Hugh June for over 71 wonderful years, Kathleen was the heart and soul of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Debra (David) Bohach, Joann (the late Timothy) Miller, Donald (Karen) June, Thomas (Susan) June, Pamela (Lonnie) Cole, Gordon June and Douglas (Keegan) June. Her nurturing spirit continues to shine through her grandchildren: Nicole, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Alexandra, Kaily, Kyle, Elizabeth, Anthony, Amanda, Andrew, Aaron, Riley, and Logan, and 14 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.Kathleen is also survived by her brother Thomas (Ann) Buck and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved son Kenneth, her parents Oliver and Linda Mary Buck, and her six sisters and two brothers.Kathleen was a devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Clair, Michigan, where her faith and community service touched many lives. Her greatest accomplishment was her unwavering dedication as a loving wife and caregiver to her family and home-a true embodiment of love and grace.Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kathleen's life during a visitation on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 2-8 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Gendernalik Chapel, located at 35259 23 Mile Rd, New Baltimore, Michigan. A funeral service honoring Kathleen will be held on Monday, March 9, at 11 a.m., with additional visitation available from 10 a.m. at the same location.The arrangements have been thoughtfully provided by Wasik Funeral Home.
