Kathleen Marie “Kathy” Burr, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Trinity Health – Muskegon Hospital. Born on February 10, 1939, in Muskegon to Richard S. and Helen M. (Hagan) Drushall, she remained a lifelong resident of the area. In 1956 she married Ralph Burr, who preceded her in death on September 21, 2021.
Before retiring in 1993, Kathy worked for 21 years as a bookkeeper for Sears & Roebuck Stores. A woman of quiet faith and service, she was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she led the altar guild and taught Sunday school for thirty years, later becoming a member of Harbor of Grace Lutheran Church. She also volunteered with No More Sidelines and was a former member of the Vikings Lodge. Kathy found great joy in reading, gardening, and cooking, especially baking birthday cakes for family and friends.
