Kathleen M. Jaecks

Kathleen M. Jaecks, 86, of Wausau, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Born on July 8, 1939, in Wausau, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Verona (Wachholz) Jaecks. Kathleen graduated from Wausau High School in 1957. She enjoyed a long career at the Wausau Medical Center, where she worked as an insurance claims specialist. A lifelong member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, she served for many years as a Sunday School teacher. Above all, Kathleen cherished her sisters and their children, finding great joy in spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth (Ron) Kordus of Weston, and her brother, Richard “Dick” (Sue) Jaecks of Woodstock, Georgia, along with numerous nieces, a nephew, great-nieces, a great-nephew, and a great-great-nephew.

In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her sister, Grace (Gordon) Berg.
