Kathleen Pulse ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Kepner Funeral Home - Woodsdale on Mar. 9, 2026.Kathleen "Evelyn" Pulse, 96, of Wheeling, WV passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Wheeling, WV.She was born on March 17, 1929, in Wheeling, to the late Paul C and Provianna "Polly" Wallace.Evelyn worked as a bookkeeper for Stone & Thomas Department Store, a bank teller at The Bank of Warwood, the secretary to the Principal at Lincoln School in Wheeling, and in the payroll department at Ohio Valley General Hospital.She enjoyed playing Bridge in several card clubs in the Wheeling area. She also enjoyed traveling and many camping trips to Seneca Lake with her family. Spending time with her family brought Evelyn the most joy.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth "Libby" Finnegan of Lorain, OH and Peggy Lucas of Columbus, OH. Also preceding her in death were her first husband, Chris W. Peluchette, in 1965, and her second husband, James F. Pulse, in 2006.She is survived by her children, Keith W. Peluchette, Chris P. "Pete" Peluchette and his wife, Carol, John M. Peluchette and his wife Cindy; three stepchildren, Christine Dougherty and her husband John, Elizabeth Young and her husband Rick, James Pulse and his wife Susanne; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Friends and family will be received Friday, March 20, 2026 from 10am until time of service at 1pm, at Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Rd. Wheeling (304-232-2732), with Pastor Kendra Huffman officiating.
