Kathleen Dussault

Kathleen Marie Pierce Dussault passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center.

Born on March 19, 1948, in Cherry Point, North Carolina, to Willard and Isabelle (Schreiner) Pierce, Kathy was the second of ten children. She was a beloved sister to Patrick (Leone), Susan (deceased, Edward deceased), Jeanne (Joseph deceased), Mary (Larry), Michael (Mary Jane), Ann (Terry), Willard (Ruth), Thomas (Karen deceased), and Ruth (deceased, Richard). She was a proud aunt to 23 nieces and nephews and a great-aunt to 36.

For more than four decades, Kathy built a career in retail, advancing from cashier to manager. She began at Robert Hall in Elgin, Illinois, and later worked at Shopko in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and Reno, Nevada, before retiring from Wal-Mart in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She loved traveling the United States, especially along Route 66, and made many trips to Disney World and Disneyland, drawn to her affection for Mickey Mouse. Her adventures also took her to Hawaii and Alaska.

Kathy cherished her strong coffee while spending quiet time reading, watching films from her extensive collection, and working on difficult puzzles. She also enjoyed bingo and embroidery. Known for her wonderful sense of humor and her deep belief in angels and heaven, she leaves behind family and friends who feel certain she is watching over them, still helping them find their smiles.
