(Nolan) Ascioti, 75, a retired RN of over 30 years from Upstate University Hospital, passed away peacefully following a long battle with Parkinson's disease. She was born in Olean to the late Paul and Bernice (Brol) Nolan in 1950.An avid runner, Kathleen proudly completed multiple marathons. She remained active and defiant against her illness through her involvement with Empower Boxing.She is survived by her sons, Jamie Ascioti and Rich Philips; sisters, Nancy Sinclair and Linda Pepperdine; brother, David Nolan and companion, Mark Bindner. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Fair.Per her wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Empower Boxing.
