Katherine M (Renn) Lotti

Katherine M. Lotti passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, following a long battle with COPD. Her partner of 34 years, Dean, and her daughter, Dawna, were by her side.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1947, Kay moved with her family to San Francisco in 1952. She grew up in South San Francisco, graduating from South City High. She worked as a bookkeeper for most of her life and took great pride in her work. She spent the last five years of her life in her beautiful home in Grass Valley, where she happily lived out her remaining years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Catherine Renn, and her sister, Janet Rowland. She is survived by her partner, Dean Fosberg; her daughter, Dawna Stryker; her sister, Patti (Steve) Sarracino; and her brothers, David and Richard Renn. Kay was a kind and generous aunt to Danielle and Tony Gaglione, Ben (Heidi) Sarracino, Cathi (Edgar) Estebanez, Nicholas, Josie and Ellie Renn, and a great-aunt to Christian, Sofia and Gabby Sarracino, and Abigail Galdamez.

Those who loved her will miss her calls, her jokes, her quick wit, and most of all, that smile.
