Katherine L. Henze

Katherine L. “Kathy” Henze, 71, of Watertown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Park Ridge in Watertown.

Born on November 13, 1954, in Watertown, Kathy was the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Wuestenberg) Barnes. On October 5, 1974, she married Kenneth “Butch” Henze at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Watertown. Kathy found great joy in the outdoors, particularly tending her garden, and she held a deep love for animals. Above all, she cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with loved ones and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Butch” Henze, her daughter Autumn Henze, her mother Dorothy Schoenfeld, and her special cousin Judy, along with many other relatives and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, her brother Michael Barnes, and her niece Heather.
