Katherine Kelley ObituaryVisit the Chapel of the Valley website to view the full obituary.Katherine Helen Kelley (1954 – 2026)Kathy was born the first child to Robert "Bob" Kelley and Sheila (Sherman) Kelley in Hamilton, Ohio. Kathy lived her early years in Ohio with her siblings, Tim, Missy, and Marna. Early on, Kathy helped raise her younger siblings following the tragic early death of her father.Growing up, Kathy and her siblings spent many fun summers and vacations with her Harris cousins in Chillicothe, Ohio. Kathy was especially close to cousin Nancy and lived with her for a brief period until wanderlust got the better of her, then she moved to beautiful Washington State and spent the rest of her life there.Kathy, "Kell" to many of her Washington friends, enjoyed bowling, camping, and many water sports. Kathy worked in a variety of fields, including owning her own cleaning business. In mid-life, Kathy went to college, earning her Bachelor's and Master's, becoming a counselor helping others. Through her counseling and friends, she met her life partner and spouse, Patty. Together, along with a close-knit group of friends, Kell lived a full life on her own terms, taking life as it came.Kathy will be greatly missed by her spouse Patty, family, friends, and Seahawks fans; Debbie, Lillie, and Rhonda, Lisa and Lou, and childhood friends Julie, Susan, Debbie, and so many others. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and sisters.Cremation is planned, and those who wish to memorialize Kell should give thanks to her indomitable spirit and to live an unfearful life surrounded by family and friends.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wenatchee Humane Society Clinic at [email protected], specifically for spaying and neutering.
