Katherine Francis Stapleton

Katherine Francis Stapleton passed away on March 10, 2026. Kathy grew up in Richmond, where she developed a deep sense of compassion and a generous spirit that remained with her throughout her life. She graduated from Richmond High School and went on to earn her degree in Licensed Practical Nursing, devoting her career to caring for others with kindness and dedication.

A faithful member of Richmond Baptist Church, Kathy gave her time enthusiastically as a volunteer. She found great joy in crafting meaningful gifts for family and friends, always looking for ways to help and bring comfort to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Faye Stapleton. Kathy is survived by her sisters Linda (Kevin) and Bea (Jeff), her brother Dan (Gia), her nephews Ty, Brandt (Sydney), Zack, and Alex, her niece Breanne (Kyle), and her three great-nieces, Olive, Ellie, and Tessa.
