Kassandra Jo “Kassie” Doak, age 42, of Waterford, Ohio, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born in Marietta, Ohio, to Thomas and Lois Doak, she grew up on the family farm in Waterford and graduated from Waterford High School with the Class of 2001.
Kassie will be remembered for her kind heart and the deep love she held for her family. A devoted mother, her greatest joy was her three sons, who were the light of her life.
She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Lois Doak of Waterford; her sons, Dustin Doak of Waterford, Dillian Doak-Craig of Caldwell, and Thomas Dickson-Doak of Colorado; her maternal grandmother, Christine Gross of Waterford; her brothers, Donald Longwell of Zanesville and Chris (Cinda) Doak of McConnelsville; her sister, Samantha (Nate) Simpson of Waterford; and her sister-in-law, Fantasy Green (Doak) of Marietta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Russ and Hela Porter of Cambridge; her paternal grandparents, Alph and Bebe Doak of Waterford; Nick Gross of Waterford; and her brother, Michael Doak. Kassandra’s kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
