Kason James Madsen

February 8, 2013 March 11, 2026

Washington, UT

Kason James Madsen, 13, passed away March 11, 2026, with his father by his side. Kason was the best son, brother and friend anyone could ever hope for. He had the biggest heart and was always worried about everyone else's happiness. Anyone who ever met him couldn't help but fall in love with his tender heart. His laugh could lighten even the darkest of rooms.

Kason spent his life in Washington, Utah. He was unbelievably intelligent, even reading instructions to his classmates in kindergarten. He spent his elementary school years learning Spanish in Diamond Valley's ALP program.

Although he hated dirt, his love for spicy chips was enough of a bribe to get him to spend a lot of his childhood in the mountains. Between spicy food and sandwiches with lots of stuff, Kason was one happy camper.

Kason looked up to his big sister, Cailyn, despite their 5 year age gap. He could be found glued to her side when he was younger and enjoyed eavesdropping on her conversations through the wall as they got older.

Kason's true passion in life came from games. He quickly learned how to use computers, tablets and any other gaming device he could find. He turned his love into a YouTube channel, showing others his happiness through gaming.

His short time on this earth will have an impact on others for years to come.

Kason is survived by his parents, Kelsey and Lori, sister Cailyn, grandparents Ron and Linda Vander Zanden and grandparents Ron and Joyce Madsen. He is preceded in death by his grandma, Etta Bowler.

Until we meet again, you and R-R-R-R-Roxie girl can play fetch, and you get to dance and play games with all of your grandparents who left before you.

You will be missed and are loved more than you will ever know, baby boy. Kason, not bye. Goodnight, I love you.
