Karlene Goodine ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Duncan Graves Funeral Home - Presque Isle on Mar. 17, 2026.Washburn - Karlene "Karkey" Goodine, 66, went home to be with our Lord, Saturday, March 14, 2026, following a brief illness. Born the oldest of three to the late Hazel (Dyer) and Jesse Goodine August 19, 1959.Karlene was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly in Presque Isle for most of her life. There she taught Sunday school and Kids Church for many years. An avid crafter, she knitted, crocheted, sewed and created many cherished items for her family and friends throughout the years.After graduating from Washburn District High School, she attended Bible college in New York state where she pursued her life-long career as a CNA. She worked at Presque Isle Nursing Home for the duration of this career until its closing and her hard-earned retirement in 2024.Karlene was a devout and cherished Aunt to her nieces and nephews and a proud and dedicated Dog Mom.In addition to her parents Karlene was predeceased by her brother, Kevin, as well as her great-niece, Kayden.She is survived by a sister as well as nieces Jessica Milton and her family of Fort Fairfield, Heidi Babin and her family of Fort Kent. Spencer and Nicholas of Presque Isle. Nathan and his family of Haynesville. Great-niece Keegan and her family of Jay, Jesse of Presque Isle, and sister-in-law Cindy of Washburn as well as a very special nephew and her caretaker in recent days, Ryan of Washburn.In honor of her wishes there will be no services.
