Karlas Rayford Bryan passed away peacefully at his residence in Omega, Georgia, on the age of 77 on March 6, 2026.

A double memorial service for Karlas and his wife Sheila will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026,  at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel at Albritton Funeral Directors with Wes Shannon officiating.

Born on March 21, 1948 in Thomasville, Georgia, Karlas lived a life full of passion and dedication as a self-employed paint contractor. Karlas approached his work with enthusiasm and creativity, earning respect and admiration for his craftsmanship. He took great pride in helping his customers create their dreams. Beyond his professional endeavors, he had a love for fishing and enjoyed the simplicity and tranquility of the outdoors. He often spent afternoons walking his pecan grove. Karlas was not only dedicated to his career but also to his family.

He is lovingly survived by his children, William Matthew Bryan, Marni Bryan Hall, Karla Bryan Wiley, and Kari Elizabeth Bryan; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Matthew Hawkins, Shawn Bryan, Shane Bryan, Michael Bryan, Christopher Bryan, Jackson Parker Nickelson, Elizabeth Anne Wiley, Soleil Bryan, Zephyr Bryan, Grimm Watson Bryan, and Salem Elizabeth Bryan, his brother, Kermitt Bryan, and sister, Myra Bryan Sinclair.

Karlas and his wife, Sheila who died on December 18, 2025 were proud members of Omega Baptist Church. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a spirit that touched many during his life.

He is predeceased by his wife of fifty- four years, Sheila Kay Weeks Bryan to whom he was married to on November 24th, 1971, his father, Henry Cermitt Bryan; his mother, Mary Alice Holt Brown; his sister, Myric Bryan Hornbuckle; and his grandchild, Jessica Ashley Hawkins.
