Karla Fischer

We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2026, at the age of 62, Karla Fischer of Canton, Ohio, born in Petersburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Karla shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Karla farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her father Russell L. Williams Jr.; and her nephew Justin Ackerman. She is survived by: her husband Mike Fischer; her mother Willa Goodlet (Richard); and her siblings, Cheryl Ackerman (Scott), Marsha Anstine and Russell L. Williams III. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Canton Baptist Temple. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
