Karen Sue Steinberg

Karen S. Steinberg, born on March 8, 1957, passed away on March 8, 2026. A graduate of Tuslaw High School, Karen built her life on a foundation of hard work and dedication. She was employed at Kouffman’s in Massillon and previously worked at Wal-Mart, where her strong work ethic and reliability were evident throughout her career.

Karen had a warm and gentle personality that drew others to her. She held a deep affection for cats and collected cat-themed items for many years. Her beloved cat, Pye Wacket, was a cherished companion who brought her comfort and joy. Karen also expressed her creativity through painting, drawing, and her collection of antique dolls, pursuits that reflected her artistic spirit and attention to detail.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Steinberg, and her sister, Sherry Hacker-Woods, along with her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, who will carry her memory with love and affection.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Marie Steinberg-Fender, her father, William Steinberg, Jr., and her brother, William Steinberg II. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, creativity, and a quiet appreciation for the simple joys in life.
