Karen Moore ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Colvin Funeral Home - Princeton on Mar. 17, 2026.Karen Moore, 80, of Princeton, formerly of New Ross, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026 at Memorial Venice Hospital in Sarasota, Florida. She was born July 3, 1945 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to the late Americus Youngs and Mary (Hubble) Youngs.Karen was raised in the New Ross, Indiana community graduating from New Ross High School in 1963. She also attended Indiana University while her husband, Bob was a student there. Karen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and the values she shared with her family will live in each of them. She will be remembered by her fondness in playing various games at family events. Karen was an avid golfer and worked on several professional golfing events as a volunteer. She also had a keen interest in doing special projects in the home and lawn.Karen was very active in several community organizations as her family lived in several locations in the United States due to Bob's career path. She was loved by many and will be missed beyond measure.Karen is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Moore of Princeton; children, Michelle Brand (Pierre) of Dublin, Ohio and Mike Moore (Brenda) of Princeton; grandchildren, Colin Brand, Alex Brand (Eliana), Brittney Abel (Jace), and Ryan Harden (Emily); great-grandchildren, Eli, Chandlyr, Makayah, and Emma; and siblings, Jill Jarvis and Ron Youngs (Trudy).Along with her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jim Jarvis.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Pastor Ricky Simpson. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visiting hours will be held from 4 until 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Maple Hill Cemetery, P.O. Box 394, Princeton, IN 47670.
