Karen Marie Medugno

Karen Marie Medugno, 59, of Everett, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, after a brief illness.

Born on January 14, 1967, to the late Nicholas and Carol (Hyde) Medugno, Karen grew up in Everett. She graduated from Pope John High School and continued her education at Katherine Gibbs College. She went on to build a long and dedicated career with Turner Construction in Boston and Mediterranean Shipping in Reading.

Karen held a deep love for animals, especially cats. She found joy in shopping, fashion, and interior design, and she treasured family vacations at Hampton Beach. Known for her kindness and generosity, she cherished time spent with friends and loved ones, creating many warm gatherings and lasting memories.

She is survived by her brother, Dr. Nicholas Medugno; her nephew, Nicholas R. Medugno; and her cousins, Stanley LeFave and Janine LeFave. She was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Carol Medugno; her brother, Daniel Medugno; her uncles, Anthony Medugno and Harold Hyde; and her aunts, Marie LeFave, Nancy Hyde, and Bonnie Rogers.
