Karen Lynn Meade Robinson

Karen Lynn Meade Robinson, age 75, of Paintsville, passed away on March 12, 2026, at her home. Born on July 11, 1950, in Johnson County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Billie Sublett Meade.

On October 12, 1967, in Clintwood, Virginia, Karen married Michael “Bud” Robinson, who survives her. She was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Robinson, and a sister, Susan Meade Gay.

Karen is survived by her four daughters, Kim (George) Clifton, Gina Rae Robinson, Michelle Robinson, and Melissa (Ralph Shannon) Slone, all of Paintsville; and eight grandchildren, D.J. (Samantha) Hill, Mikey Robinson, Taylor Lewis, Jared Wade, Andrew Clifton, Bailey Wade, Bray Slone, and Paisley Slone. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love for her family remained at the center of her life.
