Karen Lee Burton, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
A longtime member of First Baptist Church in Versailles, Karen lived a life grounded in faith and family. She shared a devoted marriage with her husband, Dr. Charles Burton, Sr., and took great joy in her son, Charles Burton, Jr., and his wife, Javaite. She is also survived by her brothers, George Higgins, Jr., James R. Higgins, Garland Higgins, and Joseph Higgins, as well as her grandson, Charles Burton, III, and a wide circle of loving family and friends.
Karen will be remembered for the quiet strength and warmth she brought to those closest to her. Her presence remains deeply cherished by all who knew and loved her.
