Karen Lawson of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on March 17, 2026 at the age of 77. She touched countless lives with her warmth and kindness, and the memories she created will remain a lasting source of comfort to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Eckhart and Jessie Eckhart; her daughter, Mary Crull; and her siblings, Charles Eckhart (Sue), Bernard Terry Eckhart, and Roberta Witte (Rob).
Karen is survived by her husband, Allen Lawson; her daughter, Connie Bertsch; and her siblings, Margaret Lockwood (Dale), Darlene Bowman (Jay), Jackie Alberding (Bill), Elaine Hall (Tom), Tim Eckhart (Donna), Joe Eckhart (Deb), and Patti Smeal.
