Karen L. Sprumont

Karen L. Sprumont, 74, of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on September 13, 1951, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Jerome Zosack and Lillian Szerszen Zosack. A graduate of McKeesport High School, Karen went on to earn a degree in education from Clarion University. She began her career working for insurance companies in Pittsburgh, where she met her husband, Joseph.

Karen devoted herself to raising her two sons, supporting them through school projects and proudly attending their sporting events. Later in life, she worked at several local stores and served as manager of the gift shop at Redstone Highlands in North Huntingdon. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family and friends, finding her greatest joy in those relationships.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Sprumont Jr.; her sons, Joseph Sprumont III and Daniel Sprumont (Jackie); and her brother, Gregory Zosack (Rhonda).
