She was a wife for 29 years to the late Robert F. Pelletier, and survived by her husband, Douglas P. Cook, married 33 years.Born in Bristol, CT on November 2nd, 1942 to Elizabeth V. (Violette) Hagibes and Joseph A. Hagibes.Karen graduated from High School in Bristol CT. She lived a full life with her family and friends. She loved to cook, read, golf, board games, puzzles, and had a strong faith in Jesus.Karen is survived by four children, Lorna, Sheila, Edward, and Ryan; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents and her fifth child, Robert.A memorial service will be held from 3:00pm until 5:00pm, on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 at Fortescue Chapel, 157 New Jersey Avenue, Fortescue NJ.The family asks in lieu of flowers contributions be sent to Redeemer Health Hospice Care, 160 E. 9th Ave. Suite B.
