He was predeceased by: his parents, Mukhtullah Devi and Rajendra Prasad. He is survived by: his daughters, Jyoti (Robert Castracane), Pinki (Sunjay Verma) and Lina; his grandchildren, Anjali Dayal, Sarina Verma and Anika Verma; his siblings, Sheoshankar, Savitri, Bhagwati and Kamala; his parents-in-law, Dr. Nagendra Prasad and Gauri Devi; his family, Randhir (Meena), Dharmendra, Sanjay (Sunita), Kavita (Ankur), Shalini, Pria, Neal, Nikhil, Shwetha Shalini (Nina), Shiva Shekhar (Cherito), Prashant (Soma), Prakhar, Shashikar Dayal, Suresh (Indra), Puja, Aarjivi, Aditya, Neetu, Rahul, Nanda (Bharat), Manoj (Suki) and Amal; his pets, Daisy and Bloom; and his caregivers, Dr. Freshteh Salehi, Sophy Mangual, Marie Mulligan, Singh Sidhu, Sally Tedesco and Indra Mohammed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel (186 Oakwood Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
