K. Alan Schneck

K. Alan Schneck, age 61, of LaGrange Highlands, passed away on March 2, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Linda Bowman and a loving brother to Ken, Kevin (Pam), and Kris Karp (Dan). Alan was a devoted stepfather to Kerri Klun (Chris) and Kathleen Capadona (Jim), and a cherished Poppy to Paige Klun and Jimmy Klun. He was also a loving brother-in-law to Joe Fitzner (Jeanne) and John Fitzner, and a dear uncle to Daniel, Kathleen, Karla, Kourtney, Kyle, Angela, Annette, Alesha, Anthony, Amelia, Chrissy, and Michael. Alan will be remembered fondly by many friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his father Walter, his mother Geraldine, his sisters Karen and Kimberly, and his brother Keith.

Alan found great joy in riding his Harleys, fishing, and spending time with his family. His love for them remained at the center of his life.
