Jvermundo Jesus Arriaga

Jvermundo Jesus Arriaga, born March 8, 1939, peacefully departed this life on March 3, 2026. A cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and devoted friend, Jvermundo’s legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering kindness. He was a longtime member of Temple Elim, where his faith remained an important part of his life, and he also had a deep love for baseball, a pastime he enjoyed throughout the years.

Jvermundo is survived by his beloved children, Jessie Mack Arriaga (Maria), Alejandro Quezada, Emilia Quezada, and Veronica Quezada. His family continues to flourish with the addition of three grandchildren, Jesse Joseph (Jasmine), Jessica Marie (James), and Jacquelynn Alyssa Arriaga, as well as four step-grandchildren, Eric Matthew (Tiphanie), Joseph Genaro (Alyssa), Ariel Denise (John), and Jaelynn Mikella. Additionally, he was honored to have 14 great-grandchildren, Johanna Neveah, Cataleya Mckenzie, Jahzaiel James, Aislyn Isabel, Juliyanah Faye, Melody Grace, Aidyn Matthew, Anayah Lynn, Sofia Rose, Juanita Cataleya (JC), Ezekiel Zire, Madalynn Faith, Jax Anthony, and Jessiah Angel. His devoted pet, Caesar Arriaga, brought him joy and companionship, and he also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who cherished him deeply.

Jvermundo was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Juanita Lara Arriaga, who was a cornerstone of his life. He is also remembered by those who knew him warmly, as he was also preceded in death by his parents, Sotero Arriaga and Pabla Ramirez, along with sisters, Maria Soledad Arriaga Ramirez and Maria Ana De Jesus Arriaga Ramirez. His grandson, Angel Arriaga, is also among those who welcomed him into eternal rest.

Jvermundo’s family will receive condolences on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port Ave, with the Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM that evening. A Celebration of Life honoring Jvermundo will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Elim Assembly of God. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park where Jvermundo will be laid to rest.

Jvermundo’s pallbearers will be Jesse Joseph Arriaga, Eric Matthew Curiel, James Ortiz, Jonathan Ruiz, Mark Lara, and Ted Lara. Honorary pallbearers will be Jahaziel James, Aidyn Matthew, Ezekiel Zire, Jax Anthony, and Jessiah James.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to all the Angel Bright Hospice staff for their care and compassion during Jvermundo's final days. May God bless each one of you always.
