Justin Trigila

Justin Trigila, 47, of Hartford, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, after courageously battling illness, surrounded by his family and close friends.

Justin brought love and laughter to everyone around him. His bright smile and natural comedic spirit lit up every room he entered. A graduate of UConn, he served in the National Guard and was a gifted artist and craftsman with a deep appreciation for architecture. He found joy in business ventures and the creativity they inspired.

He had a passion for travel and culture, visiting places such as Egypt, China, Hawaii, and Italy. Justin also loved to cook, particularly spicy Asian, Spanish, and Italian dishes.

He is survived by his loving mother, Susan Trigila; his twin sister, Julia Trigila; and his three brothers, Chris Henderson, Marc Henderson, and Nicholas Trigila. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Iris Henderson; sister-in-law Laura Trigila; Roxana and Bill Kehn; his nieces and nephews, Dakota, Chase, CJ, Scarlett, Adelyn, Brenna, and Hunter; his aunt, Maria Ward; his cousin Sophy Merszei; and the love of his life, Elena Serrano, and their daughters, Alessandra and Paula. Justin was predeceased by his father, Joseph Trigila. His family extends deep gratitude to the dedicated medical staff at Hartford Hospital, Bliss 3N, for the compassionate care they provided.
