Justin David McCollum

Justin David McCollum, born on February 4, 1989, in Jackson, MS, passed away on March 8, 2026, in his hometown. He was known for his creative spirit; he loved to draw and was really good with his hands. Justin was a proud member of Southside Assembly of God in Jackson.

He is survived by his mother, Donna McCollum, and his father, David Lee Jennings. Justin leaves behind his daughter, Iyanna McCollum, as well as his siblings: Shyanna McCollum, Savannah Ingram, Shayonna McCollum, and Jonathan McCollum. He was also a beloved uncle to his nephews: Shaden McCollum, Isaiah McCollum, Roman McCollum, Noah McCollum, Carson Ingram, Nazzier Thornton, and his nieces: Shania McCollum, Kirston Thornton, and Chloe Thornton. His great-grandmother, Diana Palm, and his aunts, Victoria Elliot and Bobbie Dickens, also survive him.

Justin was preceded in death by his sister, Shanna McCollum, and his half-brother, Vincent Walton. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with him.
